Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and assigned security-related duties throughout the healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with site policies.
• Support emergency response activities by following post orders, communicating clearly with staff and/or first responders, and assisting with orderly directions during medical, fire, and other critical events.
