About The Position

Requirements

• Security experience of 1+ years is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and report observations according to Allied Universal and location guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, to help identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor building access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or suspicious behavior through visible presence and routine observation.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and/or property conditions, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
