Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site guidelines.
- Support day-to-day operations by remaining visible on post, providing directions and assistance, and following Allied Universal standards for reporting and escalation.
