As a Security Officer Patrol in Bay Harbor, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter spaces, to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor access points and observe resident and visitor activity to help to deter unauthorized entry and support community rules and property policies.
  • Report maintenance concerns, unusual conditions, and/or security-related issues observed during patrols to the appropriate contacts in a timely manner.
