As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic media and technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will use computer or tablet systems as needed, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while embodying Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and media personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of media and technology facilities, offices, studios, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
  • Help maintain a professional presence at a dynamic media location while communicating clearly with site contacts, guests, and Allied Universal leadership.
