As a Security Officer Patrol in Leesburg, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control/badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • X-Ray screening experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, access control, and directions while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
  • Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.
