Requirements

• Two or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Active CA Guard Card required
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating with appropriate contacts regarding access requests.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing shipping and receiving areas, noting irregular activity, and completing detailed incident, patrol, and shift reports.
