About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
• Support site operations during changing weather, shift changes, and/or after-hours activity by remaining attentive to security-related conditions and following post orders throughout the location.
