About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Galveston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and sharing information according to post guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and/or perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, lobbies, and/or other assigned areas, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.
Support closing and opening routines as assigned, observe cash-handling and customer service areas for irregular activity, and follow post orders related to alarms, restricted areas, and/or visitor management.
