About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol in Malone, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• A minimum of 6 or more months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government facility.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, access, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials when required, and support orderly entry, exit, and visitor processing in accordance with location protocols.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrols, incidents, and/or daily activities, and relay important information to supervisors, coworkers, and/or designated site personnel.
