As a Security Officer Patrol in Henderson, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support site access procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and contribute to a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven Allied Universal team.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required entry records, and report access-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
  • Prepare clear and accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
