As a Security Officer Patrol in Galveston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A current CPR certification is preferred.
  • A current guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns for reporting.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to support an orderly environment for patients, staff, and guests.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
