Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a large retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observed activity according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrance areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report concerns.
• Monitor customer and associate traffic, assist with access and loss prevention support as directed by site policies, and communicate unusual conditions to site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
• Support opening, closing, and high-traffic period operations by observing assigned areas, helping with crowd management, and following post orders for retail and mall environments.
