As a Security Officer Patrol Watch in Huntersville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive finance location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor processing, employee assistance, and general information needs at the location.
• Support security-related operations at an automotive finance location by observing daily activity, reporting maintenance or hazard concerns, and communicating clearly during routine and/or urgent situations.
