Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with professionalism while reflecting Allied Universal values of being agile, reliable, innovative, team-driven, and acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Possess a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, deliveries, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site policies and assigned post orders.
  • Observe equipment areas, loading and shipping locations, and other restricted spaces for potential concerns, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
