Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and assigned security-related duties at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, office areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry points and access activity, verify credentials when required, and document security-related concerns, incidents, and/or maintenance issues.
  • Support emergency response activities by following post orders, assisting with direction during urgent situations, and communicating with local contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
