About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating updates to property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including building interiors, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entry points, lobbies, and other assigned areas for security-related concerns, assisting with visitor directions, reporting policy violations, and/or noting conditions that may require attention.
• Support day-to-day operations at a commercial real estate location by preparing reports, following post orders, and communicating professionally with tenants, contractors, and/or local responders.
