About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist II in Fountain Hill, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential care location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support residents, staff, and visitors through strong communication and customer service while bringing a caring, reliable, and team-oriented approach grounded in integrity and innovation.

Requirements

• Possess 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points, while helping to identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and help to address unauthorized entry, trespassing concerns, and/or disturbances in a professional manner.
• Support a welcoming residential environment by providing directions, reporting maintenance and security-related issues, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
