Requirements

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations in accordance with site protocols.
Support access control, badge verification, and visitor processing while maintaining awareness of sensitive work areas and following post instructions for an unarmed patrol assignment.
