As a Security Officer Patrol Security Awareness in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report activities, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and directing authorized personnel and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations and escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications to support continuity of security-related operations.
