About The Position

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor and contractor authorization, directing delivery drivers, and reporting access-control irregularities according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Observe and report conditions that may affect operations, including unsecured doors, damaged fencing, unusual activity, and restricted-area access.
