About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Route Driver in Miami, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial work location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, work areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying authorization, observing visitor and contractor activity, and maintaining required entry and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence, observing conditions throughout the location, and communicating security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
