About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Route Driver in Florham Park, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and follow site-specific notification procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, and directing visitors to appropriate areas.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
