As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Sparrows Point, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a dynamic technology location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify visitor and/or contractor access as directed by site policies, and report access concerns, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior.
Support day-to-day site operations by assisting employees, guests, and delivery personnel with directions, policy questions, and other security-related concerns in a professional manner.
