As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Heath, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify suspicious activity, access concerns, and other security-related issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and support screening and access control procedures in accordance with site policies.
  • Assist with reporting hazards, policy violations, and maintenance concerns that may affect daily operations, while following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed protocols.
