Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. This role is ideal for someone who values customer service, clear communication, and teamwork while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to each shift.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A current guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or supervisors.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and report irregularities involving visitors, deliveries, and/or restricted areas.
Support a professional environment within a technology-focused location by remaining attentive to operational concerns, reporting maintenance or security-related issues, and assisting with post orders as assigned.
