About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Reporting Clerk in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations and actions according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter zones, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing foot traffic, and support badge, sign-in, and property control procedures in accordance with location guidelines.
• Communicate with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and other security-related matters that may impact daily operations.
