Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verifying credentials and/or visitor access in accordance with post instructions and healthcare location protocols.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or policy violations, and by maintaining a visible presence in assigned areas where working environments and conditions may vary by site.
