As a Security Officer Patrol Receptionist in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas for security-related issues, report maintenance or operational concerns, and follow post orders aligned with the location's daily operations.
• Support a professional environment by verifying credentials when required, assisting with visitor directions, and/or reporting suspicious activity, policy violations, or emergencies to the appropriate contacts.
