Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support site operations through strong communication and customer service while reflecting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team culture built on integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, restricted zones, access points, and perimeter boundaries, with attention to unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or authorizations as required by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized access to controlled areas.
Support daily operations at a utilities location by communicating with site personnel, following post orders, and completing required reports, logs, and/or incident documentation.
