Requirements

  • Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Must be retired Law Enforcement.
  • Must have RPO.
  • Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or actions taken according to post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials, packages, and/or visitor activity in accordance with site procedures to help support controlled entry and help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, observe for unusual conditions, and report maintenance, operational, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
