About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Mount Vernon, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure, welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, passenger areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Observe and report suspicious activity, property damage, hazards, and policy violations; prepare clear and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
Assist with access control, visitor direction, and adherence to facility rules while maintaining a courteous and professional presence.
