About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in Gloucester, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology and manufacturing location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, production-adjacent areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and support visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.
