About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Palmetto, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and/or vehicle traffic related to shipping and receiving operations, assisting with visitor management, credential checks, and other security-related procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by communicating observed hazards, operational disruptions, and/or maintenance concerns that could impact daily location activities.
