Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, data areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, and support Allied Universal and site leadership with observations related to daily operations, property conditions, and/or security-related concerns.
