Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns through proper channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and resident amenity areas, assisting with access control practices and observing for unusual activity, unauthorized persons, and/or property-related issues.
Support residential operations by communicating professionally with residents and visitors, providing directions or assistance as needed, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or security-related observations.
