About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Officer in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures, addressing security-related concerns, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, hallways, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptions to guest services.
• Support access and traffic flow at the location by assisting with visitor direction, observing deliveries and vendor activity, and reporting security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
