Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with management and/or public first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help control access, support loss prevention efforts, and address customer and associate concerns in a professional manner.
• Support closing and opening activities as assigned, including checking designated areas, reporting maintenance or security-related issues, and helping to maintain order throughout the location.
