Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, loading dock, shipping, receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials for authorized personnel and visitors, and report security-related concerns, operational issues, and/or suspicious activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support the daily flow of operations at a fast-paced distribution location by observing truck traffic, trailer yards, and high-volume movement areas while following post orders and client-directed procedures.
