About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Engagement in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents, guests, and staff with strong communication and customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitor activity, checking credentials when required, and reporting unauthorized persons, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Support daily residential operations by assisting with routine inquiries, providing directions, and maintaining a visible presence that helps to promote order throughout the location.
