Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic government aviation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring, agile, and reliable team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity while serving travelers, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public sector transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, public officials, and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized access attempts, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
  • Support daily operations by documenting incidents, completing required reports, providing directions and assistance to the public, and helping to deter disruptions through a professional presence.
