As a Security Officer Patrol Driving Role in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, support access and badge activities, and provide outstanding customer service. In this role, you will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents while building positive interactions with tenants and visitors. Requirements

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and observe activity on the property to help support authorized entry, report suspicious behavior, and/or relay security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Assist with daily property operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and communicating clearly with tenants, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding site activity and/or incidents.
