About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative culture.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all visitors, staff, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and visitor information, and document deliveries, contractors, and other site access activity in accordance with post instructions.
  • Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and report maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
