As an unarmed, driving patrol officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and/or telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrol routes, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will provide strong customer service and clear communication while supporting a people-first, caring culture. Bring teamwork, integrity, and an agile, reliable, innovative mindset to each shift.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a tech and/or communications location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts as required.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, work areas, and perimeter spaces; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor identification and/or authorization, and document entries, exits, and deliveries per site procedures.
  • Observe and report unusual activity, equipment concerns, and/or policy violations, and complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation.
