Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine driving patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, visitor processes, and restricted area requirements.
  • Document observations, incidents, and security-related concerns, and communicate clearly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Perform routine driving patrols.
