Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify hazards, unauthorized activity, and/or conditions that could impact daily operations.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed by site policy, and help support authorized access control practices.
  • Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders when needed regarding incidents, operational concerns, and security-related matters while maintaining detailed and accurate activity logs.
