Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will drive throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Valid Driver's License with at least 1 year of driving experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activity support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual conditions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or other security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information when required, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and suspicious activity through proper channels.
  • Support site operations by completing routine logs, incident reports, and shift communications, while following post orders and security-related procedures for an unarmed patrol assignment.
