As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will also support access awareness and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities for a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related observations, unusual activity, and/or policy concerns.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report suspicious behavior, damaged barriers, and/or abnormal conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor requirements, and help to support site rules related to restricted areas, vehicle access, and contractor movement.
  • Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, operational concerns, and/or changing conditions that may require additional attention.
