As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Anacortes, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, support site personnel and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns related to operations, equipment, and/or restricted areas.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report discrepancies, suspicious behavior, or policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Support refinery location operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required reports, logs, and incident documentation in a timely manner.
