As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter incidents, monitor alarms, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. This driving position supports a professional environment through clear communication, integrity, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observed conditions, policy concerns, and incidents requiring follow-up.
